Windows Live Local for Outlook

Today, we announced the online availability of Windows Live Local for Microsoft Outlook, a free downloadable software add-in for Outlook that will incorporate information from Windows Live Local, including maps, driving directions and travel times into the Outlook calendar appointments.

 

Windows Live Local for Outlook enables you to add maps and directions to your Outlook meeting requests, calculate the travel distance between your start location and your appointment location, adjust your meeting departure time based on the estimated travel time, store custom locations, as well as print the map and step-by-step driving directions to take with you on the road.

After the problems I had trying to remove the SQL 2005 beta, I will never again install a Microsoft beta product. Do you know when this will be released?

I can understand that. I am not sure when it will be released. I tend to install betas on a virtual image only myself. Makes it a bit easier.

I installed it but when I open Outlook 2003, a pop message appears- "Overflow or underflow in the arithmetic operation". I restarted the PC, opened Outlook and it did it again. Any suggestions?

hmm no I am not sure what may be causing it. i would try to report it through the newgroups to see is anyone else may have seen it.

Am I missing something? I would like to pull the addresses in from my contacts when I schedule a meeting. It doesn't seem to be able to do that. That would be the clincher on making this an efficient product.
