ConferenceXP Training Available Online
A ConferenceXP training session was held on 15/6/2005. This provided a fast-paced, one-day class on Microsoft .NET, Microsoft Visual Studio .NET, and Microsoft Visual C#®. It was designed for professional developers or advanced computer science students with object oriented-programming (OOP) experience in C++ or Java who have written several large applications. However, security, database, and Web development experience were not required. This class, taught by DevelopMentor, was a subset of their highly respected curricula of .NET courses.
Topics covered included:
- NET Platform architecture (covered new 2.0 features as well)
- Oerview of C# programming
- Reference and Value Types (included Generics from 2.0)
- Garbage collection
- Delegates and Events
- Async execution and synchronization
If you are new to developing on ConferenceXP or new to C# and managed code, watch the videos of the pre-workshop training prior to registering and attending this year’s workshop (note: requires Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5 or later).
