The Dynamics Training One Stop Shop

Hello All, as most of you will be aware, we’ve had some changes to our Partner Learning Centre systems over recent months, and where previously we had the Dynamics Training and Events Portal to view the full Dynamics schedule, all of a sudden we just had the Partner Learning Centre. The great news is that you can now view all of the Dynamics Training in one place again using the following Dynamics Training One Stop Shop Link on the Microsoft Partner Network.

A live meeting was recently recorded talking through the Partner Development Centre, once posted, this will appear on the main PDC Link above. The two tabs on the link are where you can go to search for Live and Recorded Dynamics training, searching by product, role and level.

Industry Solution update – make sure you’ve visited the links below

Hi All, please do make sure if you’re either working on, or interested in the Process Manufacturing or Professional Services solutions for AX that you’ve visited the following pages on PartnerSource,

Process Industries for Microsoft Dynamics AX and Professional Services for Microsoft Dynamics AX are available immediately. On the links you’ll find details around training, certification, whitepapers etc. Previously all training would have been through the Industry solution ISV, whereas now, much of that training can be done online. Where more detailed training is required, this training will now be conducted through a Microsoft office, rather than the ISV (that’s not to say that we' won’t use the great skills of the ISV trainers though).

In terms of the Retail solution, Microsoft will be announcing a roadmap and availability of the end-to-end retail solution soon.

We will also see the addition of Professional Services and Retail in the near future,

An Introduction to Microsoft Licensing Programs for Larger Businesses

· This section of the training will give attendees an understanding of the four licensing programs aimed at larger businesses: Select, Select Plus, Enterprise Agreements and Enterprise Subscription Agreements.  The focus will be on ensuring that partners can understand what licences customers already have in place when they are discussing further bespoke solutions based on a Microsoft infrastructure.  The forthcoming Enterprise Application Platform and Core Infrastructure enrolments will also be covered

Search for Microsoft Dynamics Training

Hello all, there have been a few teething problems with the new Partner Learning Centre/Partner Network which means that searches for UK training would result in nothing or rather spurious results.

Partner Network:

The Dynamics Training and Events Portal hasn’t yet been updated with the new schedule details.

However in the meantime, should you need to search quickly for the Microsoft type training such as Roadshows, Intros, Presales workshops etc, you can do so directly from the Partner Network Training and Events Tab:

image

As you can see, you can search by type of training, Product, Role, Level etc, and then take a registration link directly through to the Partner Learning Centre to book on.

Partner Development Centre:

As you should now be aware, we have the Partner Development Centre in place offering a wealth of Microsoft Dynamics Training. The PDC is brought to you by a combination of offerings from Harness IT and Firebrand. To view details of what the PDC can offer please visit their site here.

image

Make sure you’re up to date with the offerings now available, and should you have any questions, you can speak to your PAM or any of the Dynamics Team :)
