eLearningForce - SharePoint LMS
For the past 12 months ElearningForce has been developing SharePointLMS, a new Learning Management System (LMS) designed purely for Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and WSS3.0. Early January saw the release of SharePointLMS making its debut at BETT 2008.
SharePointLMS is fully configurable by both Teacher and System Administrators. SharePointLMS offers key features such as:
- Learning Pathway - to deliver structured courses / lessons.
- Advanced Document Management - ability to link one document to many courses / lessons.
- Native Quizzes - with multiple question types for Exams and Assessments
- Drop Box - for exchange of documents / information between Teacher and Student
- Home Work Assignments
- Discussion Forum - Collaboration with Teacher and other Students
- Chat Room - Real-time chat with the Teacher
- Video Conference Module - to allow remote / excluded students to join the classroom
- GradeBook - to record results and communicate the grades to the students as well as monitor the class results.
- Sub Groups - enabling multiple classes to use the same course but only collaborate with their own class.
- SCORM 1.2 & 2004 (1.3) Compliance
- BlackBoard Importer - import your complete BlackBoard courses to SharePointLMS!
Enrolment of Students can be done by the Teachers who are able to assign Groups and Users by simply selecting them from the Active Directory. It is also possible to assign users to existing SharePointLMS courses from MIS Systems such as SIMS and Serco Facility CMIS.
