About Eric G. Troup

Mr. Troup is a Senior Principal Architect at Microsoft serving the telecommunications industry. He works with service providers, network equipment manufacturers, ISVs, and industry organizations to optimize the use of Microsoft development tools, platforms, and service offerings while implementing Business Support Systems (BSS), Operations Support Systems (OSS), & Service Delivery Frameworks (SDF). Mr. Troup’s telecommunications career began at New York Telephone in the early 1980s where he held various operations and IT management positions. Since the early 1990s, he has been providing management and consulting services for established and new entrant service providers located throughout the world. He joined Microsoft in 2004. Mr. Troup holds a Bachelors of Science from the U.S. Military Academy and an MBA from the University of Utah.
