About Anthony F. Voellm
As a Principle SDET in Windows Tony Voellm leads the Hyper-V Performance Team and solves complex engineering problems. Tony also drives performance education at Microsoft and has led the WinFS/SQL Performance Development teams along with innovating a high-speed remote bypass filesystem in the Windows Remote Filesystem team. Tony has received a number of patents spanning operating systems and database technologies for Microsoft. Before joining Microsoft Tony was a Lead, Developer, Sales Engineer, onsite support engineer, and Applied Scientist on technologies ranging from simulators, kernel drivers, firmware, Virtual Reality environments, image processing, compilers, custom applications and Super Computers. He holds a Masters in Computer Science from George Washington University, and a BS in Computer Science, BS in Mathematics, and BA in Physics from the University of Vermont. He loves to read, tinker, play computer games, be outside, and solve the impossible problem.
