How to filter a SharePoint List based on the Log In user’s properties (E.g. Department, etc.)

The best part of the problem was that the customer wanted to restrict (And not filter) the user to see only the items that are relevant to him. So you can’t use the normal way, where you would go to the list’s settings and filter the list on the columns

How to set the default value for a look-up field, for an item as it is being created?

Actually, it may seem to be a very simple task to achieve. Just go to the specific list in the site and then to the custom look up column and then try setting default value...... Actually, there is no way you can set the default value of a look up field

Add files to the SpFileCollection and update the time of creation WITHOUT creating a new version.

The normal solution for this would be to add the file into the file collection using the appropriate overloaded Add method – with the creation date & modification date parameters along with the normal file parameters. But as we know this Add method
