&lt;p&gt;Thank you for a insightful article. I have a very basic question.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;If we have a exchange server inhouse but want to move it to a cloud can it be done using the method u describe above?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;We have AD deployed in house and our Exchange Server also works with our sharepoint server which we will not deploy to the cloud.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;How can we setup STS and R-STS?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Can it be done?&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Thank you for your article.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Exchange can be easily moved online: check out &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.microsoft.com/online/exchange-online.mspx"&gt;http://www.microsoft.com/online/exchange-online.mspx&lt;/a&gt; for details. The same can be said for sharepoint: &lt;a rel="nofollow" target="_new" href="http://www.microsoft.com/online/sharepoint-online.mspx"&gt;http://www.microsoft.com/online/sharepoint-online.mspx&lt;/a&gt;. You won't need to setup STSes and R-STSes, since you use AD and those services are directly integrated with it.&lt;/p&gt;
