I've created a screencast that shows you how to create a Windows form in Visual Basic 2005 that you can call from your Visual Basic 6 application using the Microsoft Interop Forms Toolkit 1.0. The screencast is about 6 minutes long.

Kathleen, Thanks for the screencast. Could you make it available as a downloadable file, since for some reason I can't play the video satisfactorily (I get audio but the video doesn't update properly). Thanks, Tim

Tim -- the problem may have had to do with the size of the video file (I was experimenting with creating higher quality videos). I reproduced it at a smaller size and re-posted it, so it should work fine now. I'll look into making them available as a downloadable files in the future. -- Kathleen

Hi Kathleen,

Is there any need to shim the .net dll?

Do you think it would also work from office VBA - I guess it will.

(I will test when i get time)

Cheers

Thanks Kathleen.  The webcast was good.  I'm succesfully creating new interop forms, BUT, can you take an existing winform app (.exe), and change it to a class type and generate the wrapper class and then use it?

I've tried this and it doesn't seem to work.
