Linux Integration Components Available on Download Center

After living on connect.microsoft.com for a while – and requiring registration for download – the Linux Integration Components for Hyper-V are now available for quick, easy download from the Microsoft download center.

You can grab it directly from here: http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/details.aspx?displaylang=en&FamilyID=ab7f4983-93c5-4a70-8c79-0642f0d59ec2#tm

# re: Linux Integration Components Available on Download Center

During the beta of Virtual PC 2007, a promise was made, that there will be a site on Microsoft Connect hosting the latest VM additions for Virtual PC and Virtual Server. Although there was a site for Linux VM additions in Microsoft Connect, the site was never expanded to host windows VM additions also - it was closed down.

Two years later, we have VM additions and Hyper-V Integration Components. Still, there is no certain place to download the latest version of these components, nor a list informing of the latest versions. Just short announcements, and a lot of searching in the Internet, in order to find out.
