Yesterday we announced the launch of our Live Search Maps localization of world locations in Chinese including street level data for China. Today, we've added Live Search China results to include local links through to our Live Local Search using our localized Chinese maps. We have over 7 million local listings in 114 cities in China which we've indexed into and have directly accessible through Live Search.
The area in red above is called Instant Answers as a part of Live Search results. These instant answers will now link you directly into Live Local Search with maps of China. From here you can be immersed into the full Live Search Maps China experience.
This is the first Microsoft Live entry point for Live Search Maps China! And, yes, Chinese characters are supported in the search results, as well - I'm just a Seattle-ite who has his priorities.
