Vista Compatibility Team Blog

Introduction

This blog is maintained by a group of consultants from the Microsoft's US Enterprise Services - ISV Practice. We are working with ISVs to make sure that their applications are running well on Windows Vista. This keeps us fairly busy, predominantly because of the changes in the security model such as UAC, Low Rights IE and Service Isolation.

We started with two, now there are five. There might be more in the near future. Or less. Or other people. It might last for a couple of months or it might flow into a similar effort for Longhorn Server. We’ll see how it goes.

Since I'd have to mention them somewhere, I might as well do it now. The best introduction with tons of links is still the cookbook. A good portal is http://devreadiness.org/.

We'll keep you informed of our findings. Enjoy!
