Data Designer EXtensibility (DDEX) and VSIP (by yag)

Soma just blogged about our partner ecosystem in Visual Studio and our VSIP program. I just wanted to let y'all know that in Visual Studio 2005 there will be a data driven way to add database-specific capabilities to the server explorer and the IDE. A number of our partners will be using it to integrate more deeply into VS. Anyway, we're in the middle of a massive push to get to Beta 2, but Milind Lele has promised me that he'll be posting more details about the DDEX portion of VSIP starting sometime in October. Just a heads up about one of my favorite "behind the scenes" enhancements to VS2005.
