With the release of Visual Studio 2008 SP1, you can now add smart tags to Excel by using an add-in.  In this video, I show you how to add them to both a document-level customization and an add-in project.

Hi Guys,

Something I thought I would blog with the rest of society. I am developing a few VSTO App & Template level customisations using WPF Actions Panes & Element Host as the Winform controller.

However if you programatically load smart tags, WPF Browser control (SP1 release) wont work. I have tried everything so far but cant get round it. The following error occures during the display (not loading?!?!?) of the Element host or the WPF Control, but when it is actually displayed in the Activity Panel/Task Pane.

I will keep on this but if anyone gets any hints please let me know.

Thanks

James
