Doug Hodges: The history of Visual Studio Extensibility Doug Hodges, a Principle Software Architect on the Visual Studio platform team, is interviewed by Ken Levy discussing the history of the Visual Studio IDE. Doug is often referred to as the father (or cool uncle) of the original Visual Studio IDE shell.
