Expression Web 1.0 Released, Perfect Companion to Visual Studio

Here's a quick announcement about the release of Expression Web 1.0.

If you use Visual Studio 2003 or 2005 to build ASP.NET applications, Expression Web is the perfect companion tool to help you create sophisticated CSS and XHTML designs.  You might be thinking -- "I use Visual Studio in combination with Adobe Dreamweaver just fine.  Why is Expression Web a better option?"  Well the most compelling reason that comes to my mind is its fantastic support for ASP.NET 2.0 controls and its seamless interoperabiltiy with Visual Studio.  Beyond those two very useful capabilities, Expression Web 1.0 stacks up extremely well on a feature-by-feature basis with Dreamweaver.

 I highly encourage anyone doing ASP.NET development to check it out.

I think its a hidden secret. Expression is a great time saver tool. Integration with VS2005 is great addition if we could all use. I wish its pushed more on MSDN to make it more mainstream.

I've been working with EW for a bit off and on since its beta phase and have been pretty impressed so far. The project I'm currently working on is the first time I've had time to put it through some paces, generating layout documents that then transfer into my Master pages.

I've been a long time Dreamweaver user, but the .NET support in EW just may make me a convert, its been a while since I've done any hard core PHP work 8^D

graphic designer will never leave their Illustrator or Photoshop, they are going to wait for Adobe to release an export from Illustrator to XAML.

And developer are not going to buy yet another tool to design websites or WPF clients.
