Cumulative update package 3 for SQL Server 2008 SP1

The third cumulative update package for SQL Server 2008 SP1 is now available @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971491.
This will take you to build 10.00.2723.

People using the auditing function will probably be interested in the following fix http://support.microsoft.com/kb/967552.

Wow, the guys in the SQL Server team are working really hard.
The first CU for SQL Server 2008 SP1 has already been released and will take you to build 10.00.2710.

Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 3

We know this is a bit unusual but we have released the first cumulative update package for SQL Server 2005 SP3 too, this time it will take you to build 9.00.4207. This CU contains the fixes that are in CU10 & CU11 for Service Pack 2.

It has been almost 2 months so here is CU2 for SQL Server 2008 RTM.
This time it will take you to build 1779.

Cumulative update package 1 for SQL Server 2008

Just like we did with SQL Server 2005 we will be releasing cumulative update packages on regular intervals for SQL Server 2008 too. This package contains all of the SQL Server 2008 hotfixes that have been released since the initial release.

This first package takes SQL Server 2008 from build 1600 to build 1763.

Remember to read the "Understanding Incremental Servicing Model for SQL Server" article if you are not yet familiar with this concept.

Cumulative update package 8 for SQL Server 2005 Service Pack 2
