I really liked the video and think that the MSI team should make more. I liked hearing the lead developer and program manager talk about and demo the new features. I also liked the tidbit about using Privileged property instead of AdminUser.

This may not be the right place to post this, but the Comments field for posting comments to this blog is too small and not resizable. I think this can be improved.

It was good, I thought the question "why are there Installshield and Wise around" was a good question, not sure it got directly answered though. Certainly from a corporate repackagers point of view (i.e. my point of view) they are essential. But good to see some of the non-admin features in action.

I think that Windows Installer doesn't support some very basic features, like update of packages or package repositories, package dependencies etc.
