I can probably blame the summer most for that since the Seattle summers are so nice! There's just no excuse to be inside during the nice days of summer.
Perfect timing. I had gotten busy at work and dropped out of the NXT work. Now thru xmas I plan to invest couple of hours each week on the NXT; your code will help hit the ground running.

I'm a bit confused!

I'm preparing a corporate user guide for using our company-issued Smartphones. They're Verizon XV6700s with PXA270 processors running WM v5.1.195.

Reminders from the Calendar cannot be dismissed after the initial Notification window has disappeared from the screen. (This happens after about 10 seconds, which appears to be the default setting.)

The problem is that the reminder alarm continues to sound, even if the event is erased from the Calendar. The only solution seems to be to turn the sound off, which is hardly appropriate.

Another option may be to modify the "Remind me" setting for the event, but this can't be done for individual occurences of a recurring event.

The question is whether this is a basic usability problem, or is there an underlying configuration setting or bug in the system?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanx!

-John M.

Marc,

Yes I was able to resolve this issue. First, use MemMaid to clean all duplicate events from the Notification Queue. In addition, using MemMaid I also delete all unnamed events. Finally, remember if connected to your desktop PC, delete events from your Pocket PC first before changing them on your desktop.
