# re: The Windows SDK RTMs!

I installed the New 3.5 SDK yesterday, and now Intellasense for my XAML files in XAML view no longer works.

It's like typing in notepad.  Intellasense is working in VB.NET code files, just not in the XAML files.

# re: The Windows SDK RTMs!

Karl, I'd like to troubleshoot this in email.  Please send some info to me at karinm@microsoft.com:

1. What is your operating system? (Vista, XP, Server 2003, Server 2008)

2. What is your machine architecture? (X86, X64 or IA64)

3. Do you have any earlier Windows SDK installed (Vista, Vista Update)

4. Do you have Visual Studio installed?  Which version (2005 or 2008, Retail or Express)

5. Which application did you install first? (Windows SDK or VS)

6. Did you do a default or custom install of the Windows SDK? (if custom install, what components did you deselect?)

7. Did you choose the default or a custom install location for the Windows SDK?
