&lt;p&gt;Is this (some Win SDK samples not building) a bug in Visual Studio 2008?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;I'll research the appropriate workaround and post it here. &amp;nbsp;Thanks for bringing it up!&lt;/p&gt;
