TE08: Dogtags

In 2006 it was a high-energy, spirited, spontaneous Mobility Smackdown *SMACK!* off the back of the Microsoft Showcase.

Last year we staged Pirates of the Blackberry Curse as a Track Session for the first time ever at a public TechEd to a sell-out crowd.

This year, I’m happy to announce that the much vaunted Mobility Smackdown *SMACK!* will be themed The M Team

If the last two years are anything to go by, this years event will be jam-packed again. But there is a way to avoid the queues and get in early, and that’s by winning yourself a set of dogtags!

Each dogtag is uniquely coded, and you can win them by:

• Answering a question in one of the 14 Mobile Tracks
• Being one of the first 20 people to complete a Mobile Hands-on Lab
• Being one of the first 10 people to pass a (free) Mobility Certification

Not only does the dogtag give you the opportunity to get into the Smackdown early (and choose a seat close to “Swag Distribution”) but it also puts you in the running to win one of the great prizes in the session – including an XBox360, a nextgen Windows Mobile device, Jabra (dogtag) Bluetooth headset, and others.

So check out for those sessions, get to the mobility stand and find out how to get a voucher to take a free mobility exam, or complete one of the HOL’s.
