Petzold.Media3D

Charles Petzold has posted his WPF3D library on the web. It includes sphere, cube, cylinder, torus, line, and teapot mesh generation.

Buying his book 3D Programming for Windows grants you royalty-free use of the library so be sure to check it out!

I preordered the book and got it as soon as it was released - it's disappointing to see the most of the examples given are actually Petzold.Media3D rather than XAML. Maybe sphere, cube, cylinder, torus, line should have been included in XAML and then the book could have instead concentrated on XAML... also we wouldn't be worried about royalty when drawing a line.

The fact that Petzold.Media3D exists at all shows that XAML is missing functionality.
