Issues concerning X++

This blog deals with issues about X++
X++ Tips and Tricks webinar made available right here...

Hello All

I recently had the opportunity to do a webinar for a number of online participants, where I related a lot of issues that people often see with X++, where X++ is coming from, what its role is and so on.

I am pleased to provide this as a download to anyone interested. You'll find it at

ftp://ftp.villadsen.dk/AXUG Workshop - X++ Tips and Tricks 071107.zip

The technical quality is not superb, but it's adequate.

Nice presentation! I especially enjoyed some questions at the end ;-)

Anyway, I thought X++ is going to be scrapped and I was surprised to know you are still improving the IDE. If you are, why don't you introduce unsigned integers and byte types (well, I know that a BaseEnum is actually a byte, but it's not a best practice to misuse it that way)?

Good job!

I'm glad to know I'm not the only one that is excited about CLR Interops :)
