This tool will undoubtedly be helpful.

But first things first - whatever happened to the Schema Designer in VS 2005? While typing out XML is fun, the visual representation in the "old" designer was invaluable.

I agree with the former poster; It's great to see that the XML Schema Explorer is back in the VS product suite, but the visual representation is also quite important.

Why can't we have both? :-)

Okay, I noticed that back in August this was being called an XML schema designer, but now designer is being dropped from the name. Will we be getting a schema designer back anytime soon? The schema explorer is great for understanding and examining an existing schema, but is of little use for creating a new one.
