Changes already
It's been two months since I joined Microsoft and I already went through a re-org. Yes, it felt really weird. I am now a part of Visual Basic Product Unit. My new team is called Visual Studio Pro Data. Even though the team is under Visual Basic Product Unit, my team is responsible for database tools that ship inside of Visual Studio which is available to VB.Net, C#, C++ and J# developers.
I have a new manager too, Jay Schmelzer, Lead Program Manager. You can watch him from a couple of Channel 9 video (links below). By the way, he was my first interviewer back in Octor last year.

Oh, before I forget, my previous manager, Lance Delano, Lead Program Manager, has a book about SQL Express. Go check it out. He's a very smart person and was one of the main driver and sponsor of SQL Express.

I curretly own Query Designer, Data Designer Extensibility (DDEX) and SQL CLR Projects within Visual Studio. If you use any of these and have questions, comments, suggestions, etc., let me know since I am responsible for listening to you also. By the way, it's been a very interesting experience learning Query Designer. This tool is probably one of several tools that I told myself that I would never use and also kept others from using. Now I need to convince people that it's the right tool to use. I am sure my previous opinions about this tool will definintely help me.
