Karl Bendorf has worked in the High Performance Computing world for over 30 years, with the last seven being with ViON Corporation in Washington, DC.

Abstract:    In the world of High Performance Computing, every cycle counts and response times are extremely critical.  Please join us for a presentation and open discussion on getting the most from your computing environment by using the fastest storage on earth.  Solid state disks are entering the mainstream from many storage manufacturers these days, but getting the most out of them is no easy job.  Mr. Bendorf will discuss the merits of special purpose solid state storage that will meet the most demanding missions today.
