Also, a couple of quick reminders...
The Microsoft Dynamics Operations team passes along some great information to ensure you stay connected to the latest happenings their team interacts with on a daily basis.
In order to help you easily keep abreast of important operational dates and activities, the Americas Operation Center (AOC) has created a calendar. The calendar includes critical date information for order processing as well as information on upcoming partner events & trainings, promotion deadlines and key policy change effective dates. This calendar has been developed in response to partner feedback in an effort to provide a long-range view of key dates.
If you find this new resource helpful, have comments, suggestions or thoughts on how to make the Operations calendar even better please send feedback to firstname.lastname@example.org.
Access the calendar on PartnerSource.

With the new release of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online, we understand many partners may receive inquiries from the existing customers regarding the upgrade process. Earlier this month, we held a web seminar focused on this topic, and now you can access it on demand within the Partner Learning Center.
We have an opportunity to prepare our customers for the upgrade of Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 4.0 to Microsoft Dynamics CRM Online 2011. The goal of this call is to help share important information to our partners regarding the end-to-end upgrade strategy and provide an opportunity for Q&A so we ensure a seamless upgrade experience for our customers. We are pleased to have key members of the Research & Development team share with us the process and questions on what this will entail.
Visit the Partner Learning Center to access the on demand web seminar.
Additional information can be found on the Microsoft Dynamcis CRM Online Upgrade Center.

On December 17, 2010, President Obama signed into law House Bill H.R. 4853. This new law could allow businesses to write off an additional 100% of the cost of qualifying assets (including software) acquired and placed into service after September 8, 2010 through December 31, 2011. This law could also allow businesses to write off an additional 50% of the cost of qualifying assets placed into service after December 31, 2011 through December 31, 2012. This bill was signed in an attempt to encourage capital investment through 2012.
Microsoft wants to let partners know about this bill now because some of its provisions will only apply to qualifying assets put into service in 2010 and 2011. Further, there is no guarantee that a similar bill will be signed into law in 2013. As such, it is possible that certain tax benefits offered by this bill will only be applicable to qualifying asset purchases that occur over the next two years.
To further illustrate the potential tax benefits that this bill may offer to you or your customers, we have included a copy of the text of the bill on PartnerSource. We encourage you or your customers to review this bill and its implications together with a qualified tax advisor.
One of the important components included in the October 27, 2010 partner strategy announcement was the introduction of the Autobill Program. Our Microsoft Dynamics existing customer team passes along this reminder regarding the program launch.
Autobill, the automatic billing model launches March 1, 2011 in our Asia Paciific and Americas regions. The Autobill Program is a "through-partner" initiative to streamline enhancement plan renewals.
Partners will have the Autobill system functionality available to them in the "My Messages" area on PartnerSource to manage their renewals. This functionality will provide partners with the ultimate ability to review upcoming renewals, quote amounts, Autobill status and much more in a single screen.
Visit PartnerSource to understand how to ready your partner organization for the Autobill launch, and access a detailed list of FAQ's.
