This evening, Soma announced the availability of Visual Studio 2010 RC! The release candidate is solely focused on improving performance issues reported by beta users and does not include any new features. With the new build, you should see notable improvements in loading solutions, typing, building your solutions, and debugging.
For information about the RC build as well as a video outlining the specific improvements made, check out Jason Zander’s blog.
As for the launch, it’s scheduled for April 12th at DevConnections in Las Vegas, and we’re also busy working on planning for local launch events in the Northeast.
