Windows Azure Marketplace will help sell your Azure applications globally. This online marketplace was launched in July 2011 and now is available in 25 additional countries. Partners can elect to list-only applications or sell applications directly within the marketplace. It is free to list applications in the marketplace. For applications that are commerce enabled, Microsoft uses a 20/80 revenue sharing model.
Windows Azure Marketplace is now available in 26 countries with 17 currencies.
The December release of Windows Azure brings many cool new features including extensive support of open source libraries. An overview of the support was announced on Port 25 on Openness Update for Windows Azure.
