Resource - Microsoft Worldwide Events

My link for today is Microsoft’s Worldwide Events site. It’s a place where you can find information on all sorts of Microsoft events, both online and live. This is a great site to bookmark and check occasionally so you can find out about events in your area, especially if you want to find out more about all the great product releases coming up.

Using the site is easy, just enter the criteria you want to use to find the types of events you’re looking for and click Search.

To make the site really useful, click on the Advanced Search link and refine your results to your local area and choose what types of events you want to have show up in the results.

For example, I simply checked In-Person Events, put the date range out a number of months, and choose the state of Florida to get the following results. (Note that I had to clear my Postal Code to get everything to show up in the state.)

Once you get a search set up, there’s a handy RSS Feed link that let’s you view the anytime you want in your RSS reader. You can also click on the View In-Person Events on Map link to see the locations of the returned events.

I talk to people all the time who tell me that they can’t find information on Microsoft live events. Just remember that the site to visit for this information is msevents.microsoft.com.
