Due to popular demand for community participation in further development, I've posted the Search Work Items (Team System Addin) project up on CodePlex at:

I've heard a lot of good ideas for improvement and it appears people are finding even its currently limited ability quite useful, so I'm hoping the community will participate in making it better!
