New MSDN White Paper: Redesigning an Excel VBA Solution for .NET Using Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office

This new white paper by Dale Oberg of ArtinSoft is the third in a series of articles that discuss migration issues surrounding migrating an Excel VBA solution to Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office. This newest article, Redesigning an Excel VBA Solution for .NET Using Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office, looks at how to redesign a VBA solution to use .NET functionality with Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office.

A previous article by Dale, Migrating Excel VBA Solutions to Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office, analyzes many VBA solution migration issues that you may face when using the Visual Basic language to directly migrate a VBA solution to Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office using the Visual Basic 2005 Upgrade Wizard.

The first article by Dale, Convert VBA Code to Visual Basic .NET When Migrating to Visual Studio 2005 Tools for Office, focuses on many low-level coding issues for migrating from VBA to Visual Basic.

Artinsoft wrote the Visual Basic Upgrade Wizard, which shipped with Visual Basic .NET.
